Kit has been painting, sculpting and crafting in Hopewell Valley since 2000. Before then, she lived near Morristown, NJ, where her father’s family has a long history, most notably serving under George Washington in the Revolutionary War. “Rosie the Ox” (our nickname) reflects Kit’s love of Art and History and also challenged her artistically. Kit would prefer to move along the impressionist-expressioninst painting line, but creating the realistic images on Rosie proved (surprise!) to be quite satisfying. She teaches adult painting classes out of her studio and paints on commission. Kit loves to travel and cook. She is entertained by her family, husband Kevin, a Pennington native, her children Katie and Trent, who both attend HVCHS, and her labradoodle, Buzz.
